Way of Kings

All of these illustrations are inspired by the book The Way of Kings by Brian Sanderson. The story is about three main characters, one of which I focus on is Shallan whose journey takes her to the city of Kharbranth with the largest library in the world where she learns about how the magic of soul casting works.

Alleyway of Kharbranth.
This is a visual development piece inspired by a scene where the main character walks down an alleyway at night in the city.

Props from the Palanaeum.
The first is a sign that hangs in the alleyway in the city Kharbranth. The second is a book found in the library of the Palanaum.
